The bill (Reg. No. 0874) suggests amend articles 16 and 20 of the Subsoil Code of Ukraine that settle the procedure of issuing special license for mining operations to subjects that are owners of “a special license on geological survey, including on pilot commercial development of the field” in case of opening of industrial mineral deposit.
The Committee decided to consider all the suggestions regarding bringing the text of the bill in line with requirements of the design technology; eliminate duplication of its provisions and preserve authorities of the Cabinet of Ministers and applicable provisions of the Subsoil Code of Ukraine in case the investor refuses to further extraction of commercial minerals.
